*** A Note About June & July Availability ***

We will be unavailable for weekday weddings June 3rd through 7th and  June 24th through July 27th due to an unavoidable work commitment (multi-week jury trial....). We apologize in advance that this may mean you need to go elsewhere during this period. The weekday dates will be blocked off on the calendar, so please know it's not a glitch, I just can't schedule anything during the days when I already know I won't be available. 

What I will try and do is some limited hours on the weekends for people to get their wedding licenses taken care of. These will likely be morning blocks from 9-12 when I can be in the office to do simple signatures. I know that isn't perfect, but for the many of you who rely on us, getting the license signed is at least the most important part of my role for all of you so I want to make sure we can do that even if it's not a larger ceremony. Because experience tells me the demand may outstrip the supply, these really will be short and casual license signing with 2-4 people in order to make sure we can get all the signings done for those who need it.

Again, it's not ideal, and I wish there was a better way to do it, but in this unique instance, our law clients need to come first, last and everything in between. Thanks for understanding.

We are generally lawyers first and wedding celebrants second. We generally can do all of the weddings people request, but sometimes our schedules and lawyer commitments take priority. With that in mind, before you book, please know:

****** YOU UNDERSTAND THAT EVEN BY MAKING AN APPOINTMENT, YOU ARE ONLY PERMITTED TO HAVE 4 PEOPLE TOTAL AT THIS APPOINTMENT FOR WEEKDAY APPOINTMENTS DURING BUSINESS HOURS. *****

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but we are not a wedding venue, we are a small office with no real room for that many people and what we do is merely provide a convenient and local courthouse service. We strongly suggest you use our service to facilitate the required marriage paperwork and do your more formal ceremony with guests separately.

******We reserve the right to refuse any weddings that have more than 4 people present in order to maintain the safety of our office and staff.*****

If you absolutely must have more than a person or two, we suggest doing a weekend wedding.

1. THIS PAGE IS ONLY A REQUEST FOR AN APPOINTMENT. Until you have called and spoken with or received an email from a real live person, you do not have an appointment. Please do not simply show up somewhere because you "think" you have an appointment because you submitted this form.

2. We have to mention #1 because people tend to, say, book from the clerk's office and expect us to be there when they're done. We won't be. People send the request, tell 10 family members they have a date and a time and show up at our office to find out no one knows about their appointment. All of this is avoidable by following #1 above.

3. We don't always respond right away. We try, but again, lawyers first, wedding celebrants second. Sometimes we're great about getting you scheduled within minutes, other times we might be hit with legal work and not be able to check the emails for a day or two. Call or email if you're not sure whether we have you on the schedule, we don't mind!

4. We can't wait to help you get married, just help us make it as easy as possible! Collectively we did probably over 500 weddings last year, so don't sweat it, we get them all done!
